Our Next Race
Written by Administrator

We will be heading straight north of Phoenix to the hills of Prescott Valley to race with the AMSA with our winged micro's on July 17th and 18th. We are hoping that the weekend goes as well as our last race weekend did up in Show Low. The Saturday night heat races from Show Low set the field for this weekend's dash.... this means that the 10 car should be on the pole of the Friday night dash. If you would like to enjoy some cooler weather and watch some good racing, come on up and support your not so local dirt track. The AMSA shares the card with their big brother non winged sprints both nights. Thanks for your interest in SLIDE JOB RACING. GOD Bless

We are headed back up to Show Low this weekend for some micro racing with the AMSA group. In order to make the show we will be missing the midget race down in Tucson. We blew up at the last Canyon show and have yet to get the motor back from Fontana Automotive. We have not chased points for quite some time.... so what the heck, why not do it on a shorter season. We will be packing in both the primary and back-up cars to head up the hill for the two day event. July 3rd and 4th we will be gassing it up in our topless micro's. It never fails that the rains follow us up .... hopefully we get some racing in this trip. Check back for results. Thank You for your interest in Slide Job Racing. GOD BLESS

Practice went well.

We went to Canyon Speedway Park Wednesday night to see if we got the bugs worked out of the midget. After making some wholesale changes to the fuel delivery system the midget was at top speed around the 3/8's mile track. We were setting down some really fast lap times with Ken saying that there was more left in the car. All in all things went well enough to only run one session of practice and then pack it in. Hopefully things go our way on Saturday night and we have a great run with the AMRA.

O God, You gave us a son, and in Your wisdom and love have called him home to You before us. Please listen to our humble prayer: pardon his sins and faults, and grant that we may be reunited safely in Your Presence. Through Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, we beg this of You. Amen.
