| We sure had fun this weekend running with the ASCS sprint cars at Manzanita. This was only our second race with this club and at this track. Friday night we ended up with a 4th place finish in our heat race and a 12th place finish in the 40 lap main event on the short track. Saturday was a little more intimidating as we ran on Manzy's famed half mile. We finished 8th in the heat and 17th in the main. We will do better next time on the half as it is a little bit of a learning curve. A huge Thank You to Charles Davis Jr. for all of the info on helping dial in the race car..... it made a huge difference. Click on read more to view some of Andrea's Friday night photos. We have the sprinter ready to go fot the 4th of July race on Manzy's short track. We are doing what we can to get the micro ready to race as well. After the last race we found a few glitches in our small car program that needed to be addressed. We have been hard at work at fixing these problems and hopefully we will be back up to speed next time out.That means double duty for driver Ken Caskey if both cars get the prep work done in time. Come on out and support your local dirt track this Friday and Saturday night.. |

The Drivers Fund of Arizona along with Manzanita Speedway, ASCS, Mini Sprints and the Vintage Cars present a night of fun with our FANS July 4th and July 5th. Come out to Manzanita and watch the races on Friday, July 4th and enjoy the firework show. ASCS and the Mini Sprints will be on the short track The ASCS returns on the half mile Saturday, July 5th, the Mini Sprints on the short track and the Vintage Cars . This will be a night to honor the famous Lealand McSpadden. He will be signing autographs from 5-6:30 Bring your family and friends to enjoy a night of fun to mingle with the drivers and crews.
