People often ask how I got involved in racing and when it all started. Since my dad was a racer, my answer is that I have been involved in one way or another for my whole life. I remember spending weekends at the race track watching my dad compete in his stock car. I also have memories of being right in the middle of things while helping him to construct a new car during the off-season. All the while knowing this was something I would be able to do some day. Then in 1984 I got my first opportunity in a go-kart. 2003 After racing factory/pure stocks for several years I decided to follow my true passion, which is racing open-wheel. So between the 2002 and 2003 seasons I purchased my first modified midget, which I bought used and received in hundreds of pieces. While at the time it was very frustrating assembling a car I wasn’t familiar with, I now look back on it as a terrific learning experience where I gathered invaluable information utilized to this day as I continue to work on my own race car. The season started off kind of rocky as the bugs were worked out of the car, but I ended the season with the “Rookie of the Year” title, as well as 4th in the Arizona Modified Midget Association (AMMA) Points Championship. 2004 The following year I was elected by the association members as President of the AMMA. In addition to fulfilling my duties as President I also raced the entire season ending 3rd in the AMMA Points Championship. 2005 In 2005 I decided to change my focus from racing for the championship to building a more competitive car. I did participate in the final five races of the year, never finishing out of the top four, in order to prepare for the upcoming season. I also took part in the Tulsa Shootout which is a nationally sanctioned event. While plagued with bad luck early in the session, the best was made out of a bad situation. I was able to accomplish what no other micro-sprint driver has at the Shootout by battling through three races, all of which I started at the tail end. 2006 In 2006 I competed in nineteen races, including events at five different race tracks. I finished in the top five at 13 of the 19 races. 2007 I ended 2006 purchasing an additional mini-sprint in order to become a two car race team. I’m looking forward to the race season ahead. |

| O God, You gave us a son, and in Your wisdom and love have called him home to You before us. Please listen to our humble prayer: pardon his sins and faults, and grant that we may be reunited safely in Your Presence. Through Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, we beg this of You. Amen. |
