SLIDE JOB RACING got only one of it's two entries a heat race win...and that would be the #10 driven by our good friend Ronnie Smith from Los Lunas New Mexico. The silver #00 came home in a disappointing third place in his heat race. Congrats goes out to Ronnie Smith and DJ Snyder on their heat race wins!
Heat 1 1 #10 Ronnie Smith 2 #20 Dustin Cormany 3 #19X Jordan Mattson Heat 2 1 #17 DJ Snyder 2 #7H Jerry Higginbotham 3 #00 Ken Caskey 9/29/07 - Hollywood Hills Speedway Main Event Results
1st | #00 | Ken Caskey | 2nd | #20 | Dustin Cormany (AZ) | 3rd | #19x | Jordan Mattson | 4th | #70 | Duane Adams (AZ) | 5th | #7h | Jerry Higginbotham | One of our cars did get the victory for the night.... but it came at a cost. Ronnie Smith was leading the main event in the black ten car when the steering broke going into turn one sending the car to the wall. With a broken front axle and bent shocks his night was over. We were well on our way to another team one two finish, but a little 'ole wall got in the way! The silver 00 car driven by Phoenix's Ken Caskey did take home the non wing mini sprint feature win leading the last 14 laps on the 3/8 mile track. We would like to thank everyone that was at the track for their support and help working on the 10 car after the races. Jessie Capuchino and "old timer" Larry were a huge help.
